Riverside Park Fun - Old Settlers 2009

It all started in 1887, Riverside Park is a landmark for Halstead, Kansas and America. The one of the oldest celebrations in Kansas, Old Settlers is family fun with a heritage no other community can match. Bob and Joyce McDowell were crowned King & Queen, The Herold Rea Award was awarded to Legg Corporation and The Good Neighbor Award was presented to John Will. Race Fans Are You Ready! Wow, over 25 turtles in the ring, ready to race! Terry Jone, Race Manager, was excited to see so many turtles compete.
